OFFICE & DONATIONS VOLUNTEER
We are looking for someone who can help in our busy office for a few hours per week, in blocks of your choosing. You should be able to answer the phone, check emails and deal with donations of food and other items via the reception at Lakeside. Keeping this donation bin and the office tidy, presenting a positive professional image.
Would you like to be trained up and be one of our Community Money Advice (CMA) team? Perhaps you have a good understanding of the personal finance world and you want to have the chance to give back? CMA follows national protocols to work through issues debt and financial hardship for clients. We meet up with clients at accessible locations. The results are remarkable. We see individuals and families freed from the burden of debt and the associated poverty which arises from it.

WELFARE BENEFITS ADVISER
Our welfare benefits team work primarily with clients from within the FoodBank and FoodPantry services in order to address the underlying causes . Do you have experience in working with clients who need support, advice and a strong advocate?
COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER (collection boxes)
Would you like to make a real difference to the charity ? We are looking for someone with access to their own transport who could set up a system of counter-top collection boxes across Southport & Formby and manage the emptying and banking of those collection boxes. Full support will be given and mileage expense paid where appropriate.
Aged 30plus due to insurance regulations. Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays
To assist with pick ups of food donations from supermarkets and other donation points and to move food supplies between our Lakeside Church warehouse and smaller stock rooms at our Food Pantry in the town centre. We are opening two new Food Pantries later this year so we expect the need to move supplies will increase.
WELCOME TEAM, FRIDAY ‘MOVING ON’ SESSION
We are launching a session on Friday mornings (term time) in the town centre in partnership with local churches for people to move on from Pantry or food distribution services in the town, to develop self resilience and halt the cycle of deprivation. There will be training courses and workshops for the clients and a supporting mentoring
