Due to continued expansion of our debt advice service (Community Money Advice) and our other advice work, we are delighted to offer a part-time role based predominantly at Victoria Centre, Southport. The successful post holder will be able to adapt quickly and empathetically to a range of telephone/email queries from clients, assist the Advice & Support Manager with administration, paperwork and claims - with a view to taking on their own case load of debt/welfare advice in due course.
We are also always looking for Welfare Benefit advisors(voluntary role) This role is usually around 3 hours per week and involves attending Foodbank or Food Pantry sessions and providing a triage, budgeting, personal review or signposting service for clients. You should have excellent empathetic, client facing skills and an ability to decipher government information including numerical information. Full training will be given.
